American Lake Park

Veterans Drive SW and 92nd Avenue SW

This popular 5-acre park is located on the north shore of American Lake at 82nd Street SW and Veterans Drive SW. It offers seasonal restrooms, picnic shelter, picnic tables, a swimming beach, and children's playground equipment. The park also offers a public boat launch. American Lake Park has a beach along the north shore. There is no fee to swim or park. There is a daily boat launch fee as well as an option to purchase a season pass good from Memorial Day through Labor Day. For information on fees, please call (253) 589-2489.

Description: The DuPont Historical Museum was opened in 1977 and organized as a non-profit corporation in 1982 in recognition of the unique role the City of DuPont and its environs have played in the historical development and industrial legacy of the Puget Sound region.
