Message from the Chairman

As the 2010-2011 Chair of the Board of Directors, I am excited to be a part of this dynamic organization. I have been a member of both the board and the executive committee for several years, and have witnessed more and more businesses taking advantage of the variety of membership opportunities the Lakewood Chamber offers. With our current economic challenges, it is dazzling to see the number of members who enthusiastically show up to network, learn and politicize the business agenda. Our members are the most engaged and supportive that I have ever seen.

The Chamber will continue to focus and lobby on legislative issues that impact the business community and our ability to do business. Ongoing support and outreach to our military community remains a significant thrust. Marketing and networking opportunities will also be a primary service that we offer our membership. This is a great time to be involved with the Chamber of Commerce.

I urge you to take advantage of the myriad of opportunities your Chamber has to offer. Keep in mind – paying your dues is appreciated. However, your participation is critical in the success of your membership. Call the Chamber and get involved today!
